Tissot Sparkling Rose Extra Brut is a beautiful blend of the regions’ local red grapes: 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Trousseau, and 20% Poulsard. It wears a deep coppery hue and is more full flavored than some others out there with flavors of strawberry, cream, and a hint of crushed cranberry for brightness. This is an ideal breakfast wine, if you are into that sort of thing, or at least brunch which is a more civil hour, I suppose. It is wonderful alone, with cheese an charcuterie, pheasant and quail, or quinoa stuffed squash.
