Bordeaux has been in the glasses of royals for decades. We may have picked up on that simply by binging Downton Abbey. Why has it been so revered and respected? Why do they age so well? What do the labels mean?
In this premium Fundamentals course, we want you to walk away a bit more pro in your understanding of Bordeaux. You will be able to talk the talk when it comes to left vs right bank, grapes, soils, classifications, and important sub-regions. We hope to prime you for future classes when we can dive deeper into some of these sections and get to understand them even better. You will sample at least 1 white wine, 4 reds, and 1 dessert wine.
We had to have a little higher price point due to the nature of these wines and the space limiting our capacity. We will provide very light nibbles but please plan a meal for yourselves prior/after.
