Ever wonder why every wine lover seems to eventually have a Burgundy phase? One major reason: terroir. Arguably no other region on earth showcases the impact of place on a grape more so than Burgundy.
This is an evening with Ashley Hausman Lohmer MW (That’s What Wine*) to unpack the sometimes intimidating region of Burgundy together. This will be a first taste so that in future classes we can branch out and dive deeper into these particular sections with master classes. Burgundy is a bottomless glass of discovery. We will taste through Chablis, the Cote de Nuits, Cote de Beaune, the Macon, and even Beaujolais. You will sample 3 whites (Chardonnay) and 3 reds (Pinot Noir).
We had to have a little higher price point due to the nature of these wines and the space limiting our capacity. We will provide very light nibbles but please plan a meal for yourselves prior/after.
