Simply put: this wine is a steal. Such an impressive wine for the money. 'Domaine de Grisy is a 22 acre vineyard located in the northern part of Burgundy near Chablis in the town of Saint-Bris-le-Vineux. Pascal Sorin's family has been making wine here for 18 generations. He currently runs the estate with his wife.'
It has the suggestion of northerly Chablis fruit -- beautiful bracing orchard fruit and flowers with the overlay of seashells from this areas chalky soils. Crisp and unoaked but a touch of roundness and cream on the finish so as to be a little softer than Chablis.
